Chennai Trade Centre

The Chennai Trade Centre is situated at No 6 Abc on Mount Poonamallee High Road. We are right near Miot Hospital in Nandampakkam, which is a big landmark for everyone in this part of the city. It’s a large space, and there’s always something going on here. One week it’s a furniture fair and the next it might be a tech expo. We spend a lot of time walking across the halls and making sure the air conditioning is actually working. It’s a lot of space to manage. The traffic on Mount Poonamallee High Road can be a real mess during the big shows, but we try to manage the gates as best as we can. We have a team that handles the bookings and the floor plans. It’s mostly about logistics and making sure the exhibitors have their power and water sorted out. We don't really do the fancy speeches; we just make sure the doors are open and the lights are on. It’s a busy life working here. You meet a lot of different people from all over. Sometimes the schedules get tight between shows, and we’re all rushing to get one group out and the next one in. It’s practical, everyday work for us. If you’re coming for an event, just look for the big signs near the hospital. The parking area is usually the first thing you'll see. It’s a straightforward place for business and we enjoy the variety of events that come through.
