You can find us at 147, Karapakkam Village. It is a bit of a trek if you are coming from the main city area. Asco (India) Ltd. has its space right here in the middle of everything. The road can be a bit bumpy and when it rains, the puddles stay for a long time. The office itself is just a regular building, nothing that stands out too much. We have a few rooms and a small area where we keep the supplies. The walls are painted a dull off-white color that has faded over the years. We have a couple of fans that stay on all day because it gets quite warm in Karapakkam Village. Most of us have been working here for a while, so we know the neighbors well. There is a small shop nearby where we get our snacks. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed, though we do stay busy with the daily tasks. We don't have a big corporate lobby or a receptionist greeting people. If someone comes by, one of us just gets up from the desk to see what they need. It is a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We try to keep things tidy but with all the papers and equipment, it is a bit of a struggle. Asco (India) Ltd. feels like part of the village now. It is just where we show up and do our work every day.
