Guwahati Tutorials

We started Guwahati Tutorials because we saw students in the Rukminigaon area needed a bit of extra help after school hours. It’s located right in Six Mile, not too far from the Maan Dhania Restaurant. If you know the area, it's easy to find. Most of the kids who come here are from nearby schools. We don't do anything fancy or have a big corporate office. It is just a few rooms where we sit down and go through the textbooks together. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when everyone is talking at once, but that is how learning happens. We try to keep things simple. If a student doesn't understand a math problem, we look at it again. We spend a lot of time on the basics because that is usually where the trouble starts. The teachers here live nearby too. We know the local syllabus and what the exams are usually like. It’s a quiet place for the most part, though the traffic outside in Guwahati can be a bit much during the evenings. We keep the doors open for ventilation. People usually just drop by to ask about timings or fees. We don't have a big reception desk or anything. Just some chairs and tables and a whiteboard. It’s been a few years now since we opened up here in 781036. We’re just local people trying to help out the kids in our neighborhood get through their exams without too much stress.
