You can find Modec Infosolutions Llp at House No. 15 on Dolbari Road in the Satgaon area. We are quite close to the Namghar, so we often hear the prayers and the bells, which is actually quite nice during a long workday. Satgaon is a bit away from the main chaos of Guwahati, which suits us just fine. Our office is basically a house that we turned into a workspace. It makes the whole environment feel a lot more relaxed than a standard corporate office. We have a small yard out front where we sometimes stand to get some fresh air. The road can be a bit bumpy and when it rains, it gets muddy, but that is just part of living in Kamrup Metro. We don't have any big flashy logos on the walls. Inside, it is just a bunch of wires, some old wooden tables, and our computers. We spend a lot of time talking through projects and sometimes we argue about where to order lunch from. It is a very local way of doing things. We know the neighbors and they know us as the people who are always on their computers. We started this because we wanted a place to work that didn't feel like a cage. Every day is a bit different but we mostly just keep to our routine and try to get the work finished.
