If you know Zoo Road Tinali in Guwahati, you probably know where we are. Our office is at House No 4, right across from the Yes Bank. It is a loud area because of all the cars and people constantly moving around outside. Inside, it is a different story, though it still gets a bit noisy with everyone on their phones or typing away. We are a BPO, so there is always someone talking or a headset lying on a desk somewhere. We started this place because we wanted to work for ourselves and give some local folks a job. The space is a bit cramped when everyone shows up at the same time, but we make it work. We have a small tea corner that gets used a lot, especially in the afternoons when everyone starts feeling a bit tired. The building is older, so it has its quirks, like the occasional leaky pipe or a door that squeaks no matter how much oil you put on it. We do not have any big corporate signs or a front desk with a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. It is a straightforward operation. We handle the calls and the data work that comes our way and try to stay organized. Living and working in this part of town means you get used to the hustle. It is just a regular workplace for us.
