Being out on Samudrampalli Road means we are a bit away from the main hustle of the town. Our location at 12-36/5 in Peddacheppalle is where we spend most of our waking hours. Bharathi Cement is a straightforward operation. We don't have a lot of office staff or fancy marketing people. It’s mostly just us and the inventory. The work is physical and can be quite tiring, especially when we have to unload a fresh shipment under the hot sun. There is always a layer of dust on everything, but that’s just part of dealing with cement. We have a small area where we keep our records, but most of the action happens out in the yard. We know the local builders who come by with their trucks, and we usually spend a few minutes catching up on how their projects are going. It’s a very informal way of doing business, but it has worked for us for a long time. We don't have any grand slogans or fancy talk. We just try to make sure we have enough stock and that we are ready when a customer shows up. The road can be quiet some days and very busy on others, depending on the construction season. We don't have air conditioning, so we usually sit near the door to catch whatever breeze we can get. It’s an honest job in a quiet part of the country, and we are fine with that.
