Tanshe Transport

This business is based at H. No 5-38 in Vill Bheempally, Kamalapur. It is a family-run thing and we have been at this address for quite a while now. The yard is usually full of spare parts and empty crates because there is always something being moved or fixed. Working in transport means you are never really off the clock because someone is always calling about a delivery or a delay. Bheempally is a quiet village otherwise, so we try not to make too much noise late at night. We have a few drivers who come and go and they usually have some stories to tell about the roads. The office is just a small room in the house with a desk that wobbles a bit. We keep track of everything in old notebooks because the computer is sometimes slow or the internet acts up in this part of Kamalapur. It’s not a glamorous job and there is a lot of dust involved especially during the dry season. We just focus on keeping the engines running and making sure the fuel tanks are full. Most of our days are spent on the phone or looking at the weather. We don't have any fancy titles here, we just do whatever needs doing to keep the wheels turning. It is just how we make our living out here.
