Sintex Idustries Ltd.

Our plastic division for Sintex Industries Ltd. is located over in Kalol. Most people around here know the place because of the big tanks. We’ve been part of the landscape in Kalol for a long time. The work here is mainly about molding and shaping plastic into different products. It’s a very industrial setup. The machines are huge and they run almost all the time. It gets quite hot near the molders, so the workers have to be tough. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations. Most of our day is spent checking the quality of the plastic or making sure the shipping trucks are loaded correctly. The yard is usually full of finished tanks waiting to be sent out to customers all over the country. Kalol is a good place for us because we have the space we need. It’s not a quiet job; there is always the sound of machines and forklifts moving around. We have a lot of local people working here, some who have been with the division for twenty years or more. We don't have a fancy corporate lobby or anything like that. If you come to the plastic division, you're going to see a lot of raw materials and finished products. We just focus on making sure the plastic is right and the orders go out when they are supposed to. It's a basic, hard-working environment with people who just know how to handle plastic.
