If you head down to the Gidc Industrial Estate and look for Plot 11, 12, and 13, that’s where you’ll find us. We’ve taken up a fair bit of space here at Gumpro Chem Kalol because chemical work requires a lot of room for storage and processing. It’s a busy corner of the estate, and there’s always a truck backing in or a forklift moving pallets around. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the office looks. It’s mostly filled with stacks of logbooks and samples from different batches. The real work happens out on the floor where the mixing and the packing take place. It can get a bit humid in there, especially during the monsoon, but the crew just keeps at it. We aren't into using big words or pretending to be something we're not. We’re just a group of people who know how to handle chemicals safely and efficiently. Sometimes a pump breaks down or a shipment gets delayed at the port, and we have to scramble to make things right. That’s just how business goes in an industrial area like Kalol. We’ve been here long enough to know most of our neighbors, and we all kind of look out for each other. It’s a grounded way to work, focusing on the day-to-day tasks and making sure every drum that leaves here is filled correctly. We just keep our heads down and do it.
