Unicorn Powertech

Unicorn Powertech is tucked away at Plot No. 25 in the Iskon Industrial Estate. We are right across from the Harsiddha Way Bridge on Ambavpura Road, which is in the GIDC area. It’s a decent spot because the way bridge is a good landmark for people trying to find our gate. Being on Ambavpura Road means we see a lot of trucks passing by all day long, kicking up a fair amount of dust. Our work is mostly focused on the electrical and power side of things, so there are always wires, components, and tools lying around on the workbenches. It might look like a mess to someone walking in from the outside, but we know exactly where every single bolt and screw is located. The building gets a bit of a breeze if we keep the side doors open, but mostly it’s just the fans spinning overhead. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that; people usually just come by to drop off parts or pick up finished units. There’s an old radio in the corner that we keep on for some background noise, though half the time it’s just static. We spend a lot of time testing things, making sure they won't fail once they leave our shop. It’s a lot of sitting at the bench with a soldering iron or checking meters. It’s quiet work in some ways, but it takes a lot of concentration to get the wiring just right. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it's hot out.
