Working at Parikh Power Pvt. Ltd. means spending a lot of time at Plot No. C-1-3324 in the GIDC Estate. It is a big estate, and our plot number is quite high, so we are a bit deeper into the zone than some of the others. The GIDC is always humming with some kind of activity, and C-1-3324 is no different. We deal with power-related equipment, so there is usually a lot of heavy metal and cables lying around. It is the kind of place where you need to watch where you step. The guys are usually busy with tools in their hands, and there is often the sound of testing going on. We have a small area where we keep our records, but most of the plot is dedicated to the actual work. Parikh Power Pvt. Ltd. isn't the kind of company with a shiny lobby. We have a gate that stays open during the day and a small door for when it rains. The GIDC Estate can be a maze if you aren't familiar with the layout, but once you find C-1-3324, you'll see we are just a bunch of people focused on the job. We take our lunches together near the back where it is a bit quieter. It is a long day sometimes, but we get through it. That is just how life is at our spot in the estate.
