I Trade Imex

You can find I Trade Imex over at Vastraj Tower on Plot No. 702 inside the GIDC area. It’s a tall building compared to some of the sheds around here and we spend most of our time on the phones or looking at shipping papers. Trading is a lot of waiting around for someone else to move their cargo so we can move ours. There are days when the lift in the tower is slow and we end up taking the stairs just to save time. It’s not a glamorous life but it pays the bills and keeps us on our toes. We have a couple of desks that are usually buried under documents and some old tea cups. Dealing with imports and exports means we have to think about different time zones which can be a bit of a headache sometimes. My cousin helps out with the ledger and he’s been complaining about the lighting in the back office for months. We just haven't gotten around to fixing it yet because there’s always a container somewhere that needs attention. The GIDC area is always dusty and the roads could use some work but this is where the business happens. We don't spend money on fancy rugs or expensive coffee. We just focus on the items coming through the door and where they need to go next. It’s simple enough when you get the hang of it and the tower gives us a decent view.
