Uttarer Samannati Farmers Producer Company Limited is based in Dakshin Mekhliganj, specifically in Village 25 Payesti. We run the business from Abuchhalem Md’s place, which is quite close to the local bus stand. Having the bus stand nearby makes it easier for people to reach us from other villages. We are a group of farmers who decided to team up. It’s not always easy running a company when you’re used to being out in the fields all day. There is a lot of learning as we go along. We handle the usual farm stuff like looking after crops and figuring out the best way to get things to market. The office is just a simple room where we keep our records and meet up.
