Mrudhgandh Mahila Farmer Producer Company Limited

This company is based out of Betmogra, specifically at the home of Shri Shankar Hanmantha Potdar. If you head toward the 431715 area, you’ll find us there. It’s a women’s farmer producer group, which means a lot of the local ladies come by to discuss the seeds and the weather. The house isn't very big, so we often end up talking out on the porch or in the yard if the sun isn't too strong. We don't have a big corporate sign or a front desk with a receptionist. It is just a kitchen table and some notebooks most of the time. The roads in Betmogra can get quite muddy when it rains, so some days nobody can really make it over. But when the weather is clear, it’s quite a busy little hub. We talk about what’s growing in the fields and how to manage the next batch of produce. It’s a very local way of doing things, very hands-on and direct. Shankar Potdar has been kind enough to let us use this space for the business side of things. It’s just a group of people from the village trying to organize their farming work a bit better. No fancy slogans here, just a lot of talk about soil and crops and the daily grind of making a living from the land. We don't do anything special, just keep track of the harvests and try to get things moved to market when the time is right for everyone involved.
