Kumbhkot Agro Producer Company Limited is tucked away in Artal, which is near Borda and Kegaon. We operate out of Sanjeeb Kumar Bhoi’s place in Ward No-04. Kalahandi is where we live and work, and the 766036 area is our home. This isn't a big city operation. We are right in the middle of the farming lands. Our days are spent dealing with the actual reality of growing things. Sometimes the weather is on our side, and sometimes it isn't. We don't have a PR department to make us look fancy. It is just Sanjeeb and a few others keeping the records and talking to the producers. The office is a simple room where we store our ledgers and meet with the local men and women who work the land. We talk about the harvest, the water levels, and the market. It is a very grounded existence. In Kalahandi, people value hard work and honesty more than big talk. We try to live up to that. Most of our furniture is old, and the walls could probably use some new paint, but it works for what we need. We are part of the local fabric here in Artal. People stop by to chat even when they don't have official business. That is just the kind of place this is. We are just here doing our bit for the local agro scene and keeping track of the seasons.
