Horizon Mathematics Coaching Classes

Our rooms are located in Vidya Nagar, right near the bus stand. You can hear the buses pulling in and out all day long, which can be a bit distracting when we are trying to solve equations. We have some wooden benches and a couple of large green boards for the lessons. Most of our days are spent going over algebra and geometry with students from the nearby schools. It’s not fancy at all. The chalk dust gets everywhere, even on my clothes. We started this because there weren't many places nearby for kids to get extra help with their math. Usually, the sessions start in the late afternoon. The light in the rooms is okay during the day, but we rely on some old tube lights when the sun goes down. Sometimes parents sit on the steps outside waiting for their kids to finish. It gets quite crowded in the small hallway. We don't really have a receptionist, so I usually handle the enrollment and the fees myself while trying to prep for the next class. It’s a lot of work but it feels right being here in Vidya Nagar. Sometimes we have to shout over the noise of the traffic from the bus stand. You get used to it after a while. We keep a stack of old textbooks in the corner for anyone to use. It’s just a plain place for learning and doing calculations. It gets the job done for the neighborhood kids.
