S K R Engineers is based in Gulbarga, right on the Main Road in Block A. Being on the main road means there is always something going on outside our windows. It can get pretty noisy with the buses and cars going by, but you get used to it after a few weeks. The office is a simple setup where we handle various engineering tasks. We aren't a big outfit, just a handful of people who have been working together for a while. Our desks are usually covered in drawings and technical manuals. We spend a lot of time checking measurements and making sure the figures add up correctly. It’s mostly practical work that doesn’t leave much room for standing around. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out or find something else to do. Gulbarga is our home base and we know the streets around here quite well. We don't really do much in the way of advertising because people usually find us through word of mouth or by seeing the sign on the building. It’s a straightforward way of doing business. We come in early, do what needs doing, and head home when the sun starts to go down. The office has seen better days but it serves its purpose for the kind of work we do every day. We just keep focusing on the next job and making sure the client gets what they asked for.
