Lap-Tech Solution

If you walk down Station Road you’ll see our small shop. Lap-Tech Solution is where we spend our days staring at tiny screws and green circuit boards. It gets a bit cramped inside when there are too many laptops waiting for parts. Most of the time people come in because they spilled coffee on their keyboard or the screen just went black for no reason. We try to figure out what’s wrong without charging a fortune for it. It’s dusty work sometimes especially when we open up an old computer that hasn't been cleaned in years. We don't have a corporate look here. There are cables hanging everywhere and piles of old hard drives in the corners. It’s just how a repair shop ends up looking after a few months of busy work. We fix the hinges, replace the batteries, and try to recover photos when a drive crashes unexpectedly. Sometimes the parts take a few days to arrive by courier and we have to tell the customer to wait. People use their laptops for everything now so they are usually in a hurry to get them back. We just do our best with what we have on the workbench. It’s a lot of squinting and using tweezers for those small connectors. We aren't a big showroom with new models on display. We just focus on getting the broken ones working again so people can get back to their jobs or studies. The station noise is always in the background.
