Gandhi Mini

Gandhi Mini is a small shop located at 8/754 on Sedam Road in Rajapur. We’ve been here for a while, just serving the people who pass by or live in the nearby houses. The shop is small, so we have to be careful about how much stock we bring in. We mostly keep things like biscuits, soap, cigarettes, and basic cooking items. It’s a bit dusty because of the traffic on Sedam Road, but we try to keep the counters wiped down. We don't have any staff really, just a couple of us who take turns sitting at the front. It’s a simple arrangement. When it rains, we have to move the bags of flour inside quickly so they don't get ruined. We know the regular bus drivers who stop nearby for a quick snack. It’s a very local kind of place. You won't find anything fancy here, just what you need for the day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use a torch to find things for the customers. We don't mind. We are used to the rhythm of Rajapur. It’s a busy road, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We don't do any advertising. People just know where 8/754 is. We keep the prices fair and the doors open. That is how we have always done it. It’s a small life, but it keeps us going every day.
