This is Abela Supermarket, but we are actually located in Gulbarga, Karnataka. The address is House Number 4-601/74 H4 in Bashweshwer Colony. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it stays pretty calm most of the time. We aren't a massive hypermarket like the ones you see in the big cities. It's a smaller setup. We have the usual stuff people need day to day. The building is a standard house that’s been put to use for the business. Gulbarga gets incredibly hot during the summer months, so everyone tends to come in during the early morning or late evening when it’s cooler. We don't have any fancy displays or neon lights. It’s just shelves with goods and a counter where we sit. Most of our customers are the people living right here in the colony. We know most of them by sight. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have a big corporate office in some glass tower. It’s just us here in the 585201 area. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a bit of a hard time navigating the narrow colony streets, but they manage. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We just open up, tidy the shelves, and wait for the neighbors to stop by for their groceries.
