Sree Gowri Shanker Wholesale Mart is at 2-11-46, Powerpet. It’s an old building and nothing special to look at from the street. Since we do wholesale stuff here, there are always sacks and boxes piled up high. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint but we haven’t got around to it. Powerpet is usually very busy during the day. We get here early to unlock the heavy shutters. It is heavy work moving all the stock around. We don’t have much space for people to walk because of all the bags. It stays a bit cool inside the building though. We’ve been at this address for a good number of years now. Most people who come in are regulars we’ve known for a long time. We usually know what they want before they even say it. It’s just how things go here. Sometimes we sit outside on a small stool when things get quiet for a minute. The street noise is always in the background. We don’t use fancy computers for everything, mostly just our notebooks and blue pens. It works fine for what we need. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we have to use torches to see the back. You get used to the routine after a while. The address 2-11-46 is easy to find if you know Powerpet. It’s a basic wholesale shop with no frills.
