Amit Gupta General Store

I've been running the shop here at 5-451 in Innespeta for quite some time now. It’s a busy little corner of Rajahmundry, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing to get their milk and bread before work. Most days start around six when the shutters go up. It’s just me and a couple of helpers trying to keep the shelves organized. Sometimes the biscuit packets get all mixed up with the soaps, and we have to spend an hour sorting it out. We keep all the basic stuff people need, like dals, rice, and different kinds of snacks. The fans are always running because it gets so humid here near the river. We have a lot of regular faces from the neighborhood who stop by just to say hello or check if the new stock of tea leaves has arrived. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the traffic on the main road, and we just have to wait around. It isn’t a fancy place, just a regular store with white walls and a lot of jars on the counter. We use an old notebook to keep track of some things, though we try to use the computer too. It’s mostly about making sure we don't run out of the stuff people ask for every day. If you walk past Innespeta, you’ll see our sign. It’s nothing special, just a place to get your groceries and move on with your day.
