R D Gupta is based right in the Sale Tax Office Building on Bus Stand Road. Being in Shahabad, we’re right where a lot of the action happens near the bus stand. It’s a convenient spot for people coming in from out of town or those living just around the corner. The building itself is pretty well known, so people don’t usually have trouble finding us. We spend our days dealing with the ins and outs of tax law and accounting. It’s a lot of reading and a lot of double-checking figures. The office is a bit cluttered sometimes, but that’s just because there’s always work in progress. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It’s just us doing the work that needs doing. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the buses nearby, but that’s the trade-off for being in such a central location. We’ve been handling accounts here for quite some time. We know how the local systems work and we just try to get things filed correctly the first time. It’s not a fancy lifestyle, just steady work in a familiar building. When people come in, we just talk to them like neighbors because that’s what we are. We keep the paperwork moving and try to stay on top of the latest changes in the tax codes. It’s simple, it’s local, and it is how we like to run things for our clients.
