Lahalaxmi Polymers (India)

We've been out here on Shergarh Road for a good while now. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but it’s where we do all our work at Lahalaxmi Polymers (India). Some days it gets pretty noisy in the back with the machines running, but that's just how it goes when you’re making things. We started small, just a few of us trying to figure out how to handle the materials right, and we’re still here doing mostly the same stuff every morning. It isn't a fancy office with big glass windows or anything. We usually have tea around eleven and talk about what needs to get out the door by the end of the shift. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we see each other at the market too. Sometimes the power cuts out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. Dealing with polymers is messy work, and your hands get dirty no matter how careful you are. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. We just focus on the orders we have on the desk. People find us because they know where Shergarh Road is and they’ve heard we get the job done. It’s a simple setup. We don't change things unless they break. If you come by, you’ll probably see me or one of the guys moving crates around or checking the settings on the old press. We just keep on going.
