Oswal Salt Traders

Over at Plot No. 65 and 66, you’ll find the Oswal Salt Traders. We’ve got two plots side by side, which gives us a bit more room to breathe, but salt takes up a lot of space. It comes in these heavy sacks that we have to stack up high. You can almost taste the salt in the air when you walk inside, and it can be a bit hard on the equipment because of the corrosion. We spend a lot of time just moving bags from the warehouse to the loading area. It’s a lot of manual labor, and your back definitely feels it by Friday afternoon. We aren’t trying to be the biggest or the fanciest place in town. We just have our regular customers and we make sure they get what they ordered. The building itself is older, and the paint is peeling in a few spots, but it holds the inventory just fine. We have a small area where we keep our records and a few chairs for when someone stops by to talk business. It’s mostly just us and the warehouse staff keeping things moving. We don’t have a website or any of that stuff, we just rely on the work we’ve done here for years. It is a simple business, really, and we like that it stays that way without too much fuss. Loading the trucks is the main event of the day, and then we clean up.
