Fl Smidth Minerals

We are based out in the Pandhro area, which is part of Lakhapat in the Bhuj-Kutch region of Gujarat. Specifically, we are at 22/1 Type II in SKV Nagar, near the GSECL-KLTPS site. It is a bit of a remote location compared to the big cities, but it’s where the work is. Working for Fl Smidth Minerals in this part of the country means we deal with a lot of heavy-duty stuff. The landscape around here is quite dry and can be harsh, especially in the summer months. Our office is a simple setup designed to support the mineral-related activities going on in the region. There isn't much around here in terms of entertainment, so we focus mostly on our jobs. We see a lot of dust and trucks coming and going all day. It’s a practical workspace, nothing more. We spend a lot of time coordinating with the nearby plants and making sure the equipment and processes are functioning as they should. It’s a tough environment, but the people here are used to it. We keep our paperwork in order and try to stay on top of the maintenance schedules. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s important work for the local industry. Most people who come here are here for business, so we keep things very direct and simple. We just get on with it, day in and day out, despite the heat and the wind that blows across the plains.
