Krishiumang Gunderdehi Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are over in Chowrel, near Arjunda. Our company is based at House Number 68, which is Rajaram Chandrakar’s place. It is a group of farmers from the Gunderdehi area. We got together because it is easier to handle the farming business as a group. Most of us have been in these fields since we were young kids. We know how to grow the crops, but the business part can be tricky sometimes. That is why we have this company. We meet at Rajaram’s house to figure out the seeds, the fertilizer, and who is buying the harvest this time. It is a modest setup. There is always someone coming by to ask a question or drop off some papers. We do not have any big marketing plans or anything like that. We just want to make sure our work pays off at the end of the season. It is hard work and the sun is very hot, but we like being our own bosses. We handle the storage and the transport ourselves too. It is just a local group of neighbors in Chowrel trying to make things work for our families. We do not have fancy offices or computers everywhere. We use notebooks and we talk face to face. It is a bit old fashioned but it works for us. We just focus on the soil and making sure the crops are good every year. That is all there is to it.
