We spend a lot of our time on the day-to-day stuff like fixing leaky taps or making sure the linens are fresh. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what keeps the place running. We have a mix of regular customers from town and visitors who are here to see the local sights. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don’t have a script for how we talk to guests; we just treat everyone like a neighbor. Sometimes the lobby gets a bit crowded when a group arrives, but we manage. We try to keep the prices fair because we know what it’s like to work for a living. The furniture is comfortable but nothing you’d call high-end. It’s just a practical setup for people who need a reliable spot in Junagadh. We’ve seen the town grow and change around Perry Plaza, but we just keep doing our thing, day in and day out. There’s always something to be done, whether it’s in the kitchen or at the front desk, and we’re happy to be here doing it.
