SWATI INDUSTRIES

Swati Industries is located at unit 409 in GIDC, Phase-II, over in Daulatpara. It is an industrial area, so there is always a lot of noise and activity going on around us. We have been in this spot for some time now. Being in Phase-II means we are surrounded by other workshops and factories, so there is always the sound of machines or trucks loading up in the background. Our unit is a practical space where we do all our manufacturing work. It’s not the kind of place you’d come for a fancy meeting, but it works for what we do. We have our equipment set up and we spend most of our daylight hours making sure the production stays on schedule. The floors get dirty and there is always a bit of grease around, but that is part of the job. Most of the guys here have been working together for years, so we have a good rhythm. We don't really do much in the way of advertising; people usually find us through word of mouth or because they saw our sign in the industrial estate. Daulatpara is a busy place to be, and being in the GIDC section makes it easy for our suppliers to find us. We just keep doing our thing, day in and day out, making sure the quality is what it needs to be. It’s a lot of long shifts but we are used to it and it feels good to finish a big order.
