Sorath International School

Out on the Vanthali Highway in Shahpur Sorath, you’ll find our campus. It’s a bit of a drive from the main center of Junagadh, but that gives us a lot more room to breathe. The school has a big open area where the kids can actually run around without bumping into walls. When you walk around the grounds, you’ll see the yellow buses parked near the entrance, waiting to take the students back to their homes in the afternoon. The building itself is designed to be functional, with plenty of windows to let in the light, though it can get pretty hot in the summer months. We have students coming in from all over the surrounding district. It’s a busy place from early morning until the final bell rings. You’ll hear the sounds of teachers giving lectures and the occasional roar of a truck passing by on the highway. We aren't trying to be one of those overly polished city schools; we just focus on making sure the kids have a desk and a teacher who knows what they are talking about. The office staff is usually busy handling all the paperwork that comes with running a school of this size. Sometimes the garden area looks a bit dry when the rain hasn't come for a while, but that’s just life in this part of Gujarat. It’s a straightforward school where the students come to prepare for their future without any unnecessary distractions.
