My name is on the door at Bungalow Number 75 in Taxshila Society, which is in the Timbavadi area of Junagadh. I work as a Junior Engineer around here. It’s a quiet residential society, which is nice for when I need to focus on technical drawings or reports. Most of my actual work happens out on the field, though. I’m often traveling to different parts of Junagadh to oversee various small-scale engineering tasks. Timbavadi is a good location because I can get to most places fairly quickly. I don't have a big staff, so if you come by, you'll just be talking to me. I've always preferred the hands-on side of engineering rather than sitting in a fancy office all day. I don't have a mission statement or any of that stuff. I just try to make sure that whatever I'm working on is safe and functional. Dealing with the heat and the dust in the summer is probably the hardest part of the job. I don't make things sound better than they are. If a project is behind schedule, I explain why and we work to catch up. It’s a very practical way to live. Being a Junior Engineer means you're often the one who has to solve the little problems before they become big ones. I just take things as they come and try to be useful to the people who hire me for their projects.
