Being out here in Takodinar, within the Junagadh district, is a lot different from working in the big city. Our office is at Atmalasharam, and it’s a peaceful spot compared to the noise of the bigger towns. We don't have the constant sirens and honking you find elsewhere in Gujarat. Most of our work is with the local people from the district who come in from the nearby villages. Life moves at a much slower pace here. We handle insurance tasks, but it often feels more like helping out our neighbors with their paperwork. The office is very simple. We have the basic stuff like tables, wooden chairs, and an internet connection that we hope stays stable for the portal work. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we just sit and wait it out. It’s just part of the local lifestyle. We know most people who walk through the door by their first names. We don’t wear suits and ties here because it’s way too hot for that. We just focus on getting the details right on the life insurance applications for Icici Prudential Life Insurance Company. There’s always a lot of paperwork to sort through, and we spend our time making sure it’s all filled out correctly. The surrounding area is mostly open land, and it smells great after the rain. It’s a decent place to spend our working hours. We aren't a high-pressure office at all. We just do the work that needs doing every day.
