Kaakuso Acrylic Furnitures

My shop is right here in Daulatpura, just across from the Bank of Baroda. People usually find us easily because of that landmark. We spend most of our days working with acrylic sheets. It’s a messy job sometimes with all the plastic shavings on the floor, but that is just how it goes when you are making furniture. I started Kaakuso Acrylic Furnitures because I liked how the material looked. It’s different from wood. We have all these tools and saws that make a lot of noise throughout the morning. Usually, someone is sanding down an edge or trying to get a joint to fit just right. It isn’t a fancy place. We have some samples sitting around and a lot of raw material stacked against the back wall. Sometimes the heat in Daulatpura makes the shop feel a bit stuffy, but we keep the doors open anyway. Neighbors drop by to chat or ask if we can fix a small broken piece of plastic they have at home. We don’t really do big advertising or anything like that. Mostly, it’s just us here working on orders and trying to get things done on time. If you walk past the bank, you will probably see me or one of the guys moving a big clear sheet around. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. It feels like home even with the smell of glue and the constant sound of the machines. That's pretty much it.
