Castech Foundries Pvt. Ltd. is located over in the G.I.D.C II area of Dolatpara. Our specific plots are 1708 and 1709. It’s an industrial zone, so the whole neighborhood is full of similar factories and warehouses. We do foundry work here, which means it’s hot, heavy, and pretty dirty most of the time. The buildings at 1708 and 1709 are large enough to house the furnaces and the casting equipment we use every day. We have a steady crew that comes in to handle the melts and the molds. It’s not a place for someone who likes to stay clean. We spend a lot of time monitoring the temperatures and making sure the metal flows right. The yard is usually full of raw materials and finished castings waiting to be picked up by the transporters. Being in G.I.D.C II makes things easier since the roads are built for big trucks and heavy loads. We don’t have a fancy office; it’s mostly just a small room at the front with a desk and some filing cabinets for the paperwork. We’ve been in Dolatpara for a long time. The work is hard, but it’s consistent. We just focus on getting the pours done and keeping the equipment running. It is a straightforward industrial operation without any unnecessary extras. Sometimes the power cuts off and we have to wait, but we just get back to it once the electricity is back on.
