Austin Engineering Company Limited

Austin Engineering Company Limited is out here in Vill Patla. It’s a bit of a trek if you aren't from around Tal. Bhesan or coming via Ranpur (Sorath) Post Hadmatiya. We’ve been at this spot near the Post Hadmatiya for quite a while now. The roads are okay, but during the monsoon, they get a bit muddy, which makes things interesting for the trucks coming in and out. Mostly, it’s just us here working through the daily pile of stuff that needs doing. It isn’t some fancy glass building you’d see in the big cities. It’s just a practical workspace where we get our hands dirty. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour, so we just sit outside and talk for a bit until it comes back. The guys know the machines inside out by now. My desk is usually covered in papers and some old tools that nobody has moved in years. We don’t really do anything flashy. It’s just about getting the parts made and sent off to wherever they need to go. If you are looking for the place, just ask anyone near the village for Austin Engineering, they usually point the way. It’s quiet out here compared to the city, which is nice most days. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in. Nothing more to it than that, really.
