Vishnu Oil And Dall Mill is out at Plot No E-40 in the first phase of the MIA, Basani. It’s an industrial patch of ground where we do our milling. The smell of oil and pulses is pretty strong around here, but you get used to it after a few days. We’ve been running this mill for quite some time. It’s loud because of the machines, so we don't do much talking while they’re running. Most of our work is about making sure the seeds and grains are processed right. We aren't a corporate office with suits and ties. We wear work clothes because we get dirty every day. The floors are often covered in a bit of dust from the dall. We don’t have a website or do any big advertising. Word of mouth usually brings people to our gate in Basani. The industrial area can be a bit confusing if you don't know your way around, but Plot E-40 isn't too hard to find. We just focus on the daily output and making sure the equipment doesn't break down at the wrong time. It happens sometimes, and then we're all hands on deck to fix it. We aren't trying to sound impressive. We’re just a local mill doing what we’ve always done. It’s a noisy, dusty, busy place, but it’s our business and we’re proud enough of it.
