Asian Kesar Store

You can find us at G-702 in the 2nd Phase of Basni. We are situated right behind Nobel Art which makes it easier for people to give directions to our store. Being in Basni means we deal with a lot of dust from the industrial area around us. Inside the Asian Kesar Store things are a bit different though. We spend our time looking at very small pieces of saffron and making sure it looks okay. It is tedious work sometimes because you have to be careful not to spill anything. The store itself is pretty simple with some metal shelves and a counter where we weigh things. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights like you might see in a mall. It is more of a practical place where we get work done. Customers come in and we show them what we have available for the day. Sometimes we have long talks about the weather or how the local market is doing while we pack up their items. The area gets really busy in the afternoons with trucks moving around but our little corner stays relatively calm. We use an old scale that still works perfectly fine for our needs. Most of the day is just spent sorting and packing and making sure the jars are sealed tight. It’s a quiet life here behind Nobel Art but we stay busy enough.
