Vishnu Fancy & General Sotre

Vishnu Fancy & General Sotre is on Soor Sagar Road in Jodhpur. I know the sign has a little spelling mistake on it, but everyone in the neighborhood knows who we are. We sell a mix of things, from daily groceries to fancy items like bangles, ribbons, and small gifts. Jodhpur can get really hot, so the shop is a nice place to get out of the sun for a minute. The 342003 area is quite lively, and being on Soor Sagar Road means we see a lot of people driving past on their way to the city center. I try to keep the fancy items looking nice in the front glass case so the ladies can see the new stock. It is a family business, and we have been here long enough that I have seen the kids in the neighborhood grow up. Sometimes they come in for candy, and then years later they are coming in for household supplies for their own homes. We do not have any big corporate rules here. If someone is short a few rupees, I usually tell them to pay me next time. That is just how it works in a local shop like this. We open every day except for some festivals, and it keeps us busy enough to stay out of trouble.
