Surfactant Industries

Our business, Surfactant Industries, is tucked away at No. G1/97 in the New Jodhpur Industrial Area. If you are looking for us, we are right behind the New Power House. It is a big building, so you cannot really miss it if you are in the neighborhood. We have been operating from this shed for quite some time now. The area is mostly other factories and warehouses, so it is a pretty industrial environment. We deal with surfactants, which is basically the stuff that goes into soaps and different types of cleaners. It involves a lot of mixing and keeping track of all the chemical barrels. The air in here usually smells a bit soapy depending on what we are working on that day. We are not a corporate office with glass walls or carpets; it is more about the production floor and the storage area. We handle our own loading and unloading most days. It gets pretty hot in Jodhpur, so the shed can get very stuffy in the summer months. We do not have a lot of staff, just enough to keep the drums moving and the orders filled correctly. Sometimes the trucks are late and it throws the whole schedule off, but that is just part of the business. We focus on getting the quantities right and making sure the lids are on tight before anything leaves the gate. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we know. People in the industry know where to find us when they need supplies. We just stay here and do the work.
