We are over at E-378 in the Marudhar Industrial Area. This is the 2nd Phase of Basni, so there are plenty of other factories around us. We deal with alloys and metal stuff. The heat from the furnace is something you get used to after a while, though it is tough in the peak of summer. It is a dusty place, as you would expect for an industrial unit. We have got a core group of workers who know the machines inside out. We do not have a big corporate structure here. It is mostly just us making sure the production stays on track. If a machine breaks down, we fix it ourselves and keep going. The office is just a small room with a couple of chairs and a computer that has seen better days. We do not really have a marketing person. Most of our day is spent checking the quality of the pours and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly for delivery. Basni is a busy place and we fit right in with the rest of the workshops. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out, which is just part of being in this area. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do the work and keep the shop running smoothly for everyone who works here. Surbhi Alloys Pvt. Ltd. has been here a long time.
