Star Mines & Minerals

Our office for Star Mines & Minerals is located in Shastri Nagar. We are right across the street from the Surya Mahal Hotel, which is a big landmark around here. If you find the hotel, you have found us. It is a busy little area and sometimes finding a place to park your scooter or car is a bit of a challenge. Our office is pretty simple. We have some old desks, a couple of chairs that have seen better days, and piles of paperwork on the shelves. We deal with minerals and mining stuff, which means a lot of talking on the phone and coordinating with people at the sites. It is not a glamorous job. We spend most of our time looking at charts or dealing with transporters. Sometimes we go over to the hotel for a quick tea or to meet someone. The people there know us well by now. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it. We get customers from different places asking about mineral grades and prices. We tell them what the current situation is. It is an honest way to make a living. We stay open until the evening most days, unless we have to go out for some work. It is just a regular local business in a busy part of town.
