Krisha Paint

You can find our paint shop in Soorsagar, right near the Veera Anjanaya Temple. It is a familiar spot for people living in this part of the city. We have been selling paint and hardware for many years now. The shop is filled from floor to ceiling with cans of all sizes. We have everything from basic white lime to the more expensive oil paints. When customers come in, they often bring a piece of a wall or a picture they liked. We spend a lot of time talking to them about which shade would look good in their light. My clothes usually have at least a few spots of color on them by the end of the day. It is a bit of a messy business but it is interesting to see what people choose for their homes. During the time of Diwali, it gets so busy that we hardly have time to eat our lunch. The noise from the temple bells is part of our daily routine here. We are just a local family trying to provide what the neighborhood needs for their repairs and painting. We don't have a computer system to match colors, we mostly do it by eye and experience. It's a small shop but we keep it well-stocked so people don't have to go far.
