Shri Ramdev Paint'S

Shri Ramdev Paint'S is at No. 2/1309 in the Kudi Bhagtasni Housing Board area. Our shop is pretty easy to spot because of the stacks of paint buckets near the entrance. It’s a bit of a dusty place, mostly from the mixing of powders and the general traffic of the housing board. I spend most of my time behind the counter, helping people figure out how much paint they need for a room or trying to match a color from a small scrap of paper they brought in. The shelves are packed with tins of all sizes, and there is always that faint smell of oil and chemicals in the air. It’s a neighborhood shop, so I know a lot of the local contractors and homeowners who are doing up their places. We don’t have a fancy computer system to show you how the colors look on a wall; we just look at the cards and talk about it. Sometimes I have to climb up the ladder to find a specific shade that’s been sitting at the back for a while. It’s physical work, moving those heavy containers around all day. I try to keep the place tidy, but when we get a big shipment in, the aisles get a bit blocked up for a while. We’ve been here in Kudi Bhagtasni for a good bit now, just providing whatever people need to get their painting jobs finished. It's just a regular hardware shop where we try to be useful.
