Soni Engineering & Works

Our workshop, Soni Engineering & Works, is located over in the Basni Industrial Area, specifically at Tanawara Phanta. If you have ever been to the Mia 2nd Phase, you know it is mostly factories and warehouses around here. It is dusty and there is always the sound of metal hitting metal or machines humming in the background. We have been in this spot for a good while, and the walls are stained with oil and grease, which is just how an engineering place should look. We usually get to work early before the sun gets too hot, though in the summer it doesn't really matter what time you start. The shed gets warm pretty fast. We handle various types of repairs and small fabrication jobs that come our way. People from the nearby units often drop by when something breaks down and they need a quick fix. We don't have a front desk or anyone to answer phones all day. Mostly, if the phone rings, one of us wipes our hands on a rag and picks it up. It’s a messy job, but it’s what we know how to do. The area has changed a lot since we first moved in, with more buildings going up every year. We just keep our heads down and focus on the machines in front of us. Some days are slow, but mostly there is enough work to keep the three of us busy until late.
