N K Rai

We are located at Mahamandir on MI Road 2. If you know this part of the city, you know MI Road is one of the main places people go. Our office for N K Rai is right in the middle of all that activity. It is a busy spot, especially with the tourists and the locals all mixed together. The building we are in is quite old and has a lot of character, though it could probably use a bit of paint here and there. Inside, we have our workspace set up with the basics. There is no air conditioning that works all the time, so we rely on the fans when it gets hot. We handle our business in a very straightforward way. There are no fancy presentations or big speeches. We just sit down, look at what needs to be done, and do it. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall down the street while we work. The noise from MI Road is always there in the background, like a constant hum. We have been at this address for a while and we are used to the rhythm of Mahamandir. It is a practical place for us to be. We just show up every morning and get through the tasks until it is time to head home. Our space is lived-in and real, which is exactly how we like it.
