Working at 4, Heavy Industrial Area means you get used to the grit and the constant movement of trucks. We have been here at Sigma Minerals for a long time. The place is big and it takes a lot of effort to keep everything running right. We spend our hours processing minerals and making sure the bags are filled and stacked properly. It is physical work and by the end of the shift, everyone is usually covered in a bit of dust. We don't spend much time on fancy things. Our office is just a plain room where we keep the logs and answer the phone when it rings. Usually, it is just a customer asking about a shipment or a driver looking for directions to the gate. The heavy industrial zone is always loud with the sound of engines and metal clanking. We don't mind it much. We just focus on our own yard and making sure the piles of material are where they should be. It is a straightforward business. We show up, do the grinding or the sorting, and then lock up for the night. There isn't much to say about us other than we are just a local crew doing our part in the supply chain. We’ve seen the area change over the years but our spot remains pretty much the same as it always was.
