Our office is out at Plot No 27/46 in Ram Nagar, which is along Nandri Road in the Banar area. We are quite close to Vandana Model School, so you can often hear the school bell or the kids during the day. It’s a bit away from the main center of Jodhpur, which makes it a slightly quieter place to work on designs. We do both the architecture part and the interior stuff, so the office is full of both building plans and fabric or paint swatches. It’s a mix of technical work and trying to figure out what looks good inside a room. We spend hours looking at computer screens, moving lines around until the layout makes sense. People from the Banar area often stop by to talk about their new homes. We don't have a fancy reception, just some desks and a place to sit and chat. It’s a lot of hard work to get a design finished, and we usually have several going at once. We like the neighborhood feel here in Ram Nagar. It feels like we are helping the local community grow, one house at a time. The commute along Banar Road is just part of the daily life for us. We just keep plugging away at the drawings, making sure everything is ready for the builders when they need it for the next project.
