Aavas Architects

Aavas Architects is located at D-150 in the Basni area of Jodhpur. We are tucked away in Saraswati Nagar, which is a bit of a quieter part of town compared to the main markets. This works out well for us because designing buildings takes a bit of focus and quiet. Our office is a simple one. We don't have a big sign with lights or a fancy lobby for people to wait in. Usually, if someone comes by, they just walk right in and talk to us at our desks. We have our computers and some old-fashioned drawing boards because sometimes it’s easier to sketch things out by hand first. We have lived and worked in Jodhpur for a long time, so we understand the climate and the way people like to live here. Our work is mostly about making sure a house fits the family that will live there. We don't use any of those big corporate mission statements. We just take a look at the space available and try to draw something that makes sense. Sometimes we are busy with several projects and the office gets a bit messy with papers and blueprints everywhere. That is just how we work.
