Shiv Shankr General Store is out in the Banar area of Jodhpur. Specifically, we are in Shri Shri Yade Ngr, which is a bit of a distance from the main city crowd. Jodhpur is known for being hot and sandy and that is definitely true for our location in Banar too. We have set up the shop to provide for the people living in this growing neighborhood. We don't have a big staff, it is mostly just family taking turns behind the counter. The shop is a bit of a hangout spot for the local men in the evenings when they come to buy their daily items. We try to keep a bit of everything so people don't have to travel all the way into Jodhpur for small things. The shelves are wooden and a bit old but they hold everything just fine.
