Satyanarayan Provision Store

Our store is located at 18/7 in Pungalpada, which is quite close to the Satyam Theatre here in Jodhpur. It’s a convenient spot for people who are out and about in the neighborhood. We mostly focus on provisions and daily groceries. The shop is a simple space with basic shelving and a small counter where we handle the sales. We’ve been operating Satyanarayan Provision Store for quite a long time now. It’s a family business, passed down through a couple of generations. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with customers to get around to it. We stock items like grains, pulses, and oils. Sometimes the bags are heavy and we have to help people carry them to their cycles. We don't do any big promotions. People just know we are here and that we have what they need for their kitchens. It’s a quiet way to make a living. We know the routines of the people who live nearby, like who comes in for milk in the morning and who stops by for snacks after work. It’s not a fancy supermarket, just a local provision store that’s been part of the street for years. We keep the doors open six days a week and just keep things moving as they always have.
